Hello!  Thank you for visiting – I’m so happy you’re here!

If you are stopping by, you no doubt have a love of décor and design, or perhaps just an inclination to make adjustments to your home to make it a more comfortable space to enjoy.  Throughout the years I’ve noticed that the biggest complaints people have about their decorators are, “They didn’t listen to what I wanted,” or, “They made my home beautiful, but it doesn’t quite feel like me.”  I like to take pride in the fact that I make every effort to really get to know my clients, so that no one ever says those things about me.  I have a home that I get to make my own – my goal is to make your home, well, YOUR HOME.  I’ve come to realize that the way one designs one’s home is a direct reflection one’s personality.  Sounds pretty obvious, but there is a fascinating psychological pattern that emerges in each person’s design.

After all, for most people, a home is a major investment.  With an eye toward fiscal responsibility, doesn’t it make sense to try to understand what your needs are, what makes your home an extension of your personality, so that you can make wise choices when you pick out furnishings that are likely a significant investment?  If we are able to drill down on these ideas, then perhaps we can eliminate the possibility of buyer’s remorse and/or ending up with a design that doesn’t quite feel like you.

They say your home is your sanctuary…a place of refuge or safety.  The word “sanctuary” conjures an image as unique as each person who imagines it – and all are beautiful.  All homes can be both beautiful AND a reflection of who you are.

Welcome to my sanctuary, where we can explore together the “how-to’s” and “why’s” of this concept together.
